Scott's Pond of Ewell's Woods is a 196 Single-home community located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Scott’s Pond is situated off of Olde Towne Rd between Richmond Rd (Rt 60) and Longhill Rd. HistoryThe first homes in Section 1 were completed in Scotts Pond in 1998. The builders in the first phase included Williamsburg Building Corp and Pace Construction. Construction of the second phase of Scotts Pond (Ewell’s Woods) included Sections 2 and 3. Construction started in 2003 and continued until 2006. Homes here were built by Arcadia Construction and Patriot Builders. The entire neighborhood encompasses 142 acres. Home sizes range from 1700 to almost 3200 square feet. Two story homes are the predominant style although there are a few one-story ranches scattered within. Additionally, the more homeowners utilizing this service minimizes the number of trash days that trucks come through the neighborhood which reduces traffic, noise, and wear and tear on our roads. General Recycling Recycling is the responsibility of each individual homeowner and is handled through James City County. Yes, There is a Pond"Yes, Scott’s Pond has a pond in the very back of the neighborhood. There are neighborhood trails that will take you to Scott’s Pond where you can see the work of Beavers, water birds, turtles, frogs and sometimes a snake. This area is home to many wildlife like deer, fox, and many squirrels and rabbits. Bird watching is a wonderful experience, especially if you feed them. No swimming or water craft, other than those powered by wind or human energy, are permitted in the pond at anytime.
