Important Announcements: 

• Community Luau to be held June 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the vacant lot on Rockingham Drive. There will be food, drink, games (for children & adults), face painting, music and pie-tasting contest. Please come out and join us for the fun! A few things of note below:

           *We ask that if able please bring a party side dish (fruit, finger foods, etc) to share. We will be providing the sandwhiches and drinks! 

           *Please bring a  Pie if you wish to participate pie-sdtasting contest

         * The games include: Limbo, Hula Hoop Contest, Potato Sack relay and more! So wear comfortable beach/hawaiian attire.

• The Board voted to dedicate the trail on Essex Ct as the Lewis Birns Memorial Walking Trail in honor of his years of dedicated service to our community. Sadly, Lew passed away last year, pictured below is his wife Mary Lou at the dedication. To see more trail improvements - look here.

• A Hawaiian Luau has been scheduled for June. More details to come....

• National Night Out - August 7, 2012. Food and Fun for all ages. More details to come.... 

• Monthly Board meetings are scheduled on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the JCC Human Resources Building on Old Towne Rd.  Meetings for 2012 are scheduled for: June 21, July 19, Aug. 16, Sep. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15, Dec. 20.

 Board Notes: 

• Dog Waste Stations have been installed! They can be found on Rockingham, Montpelier & Scott's Pond Drive.  

• Pond Health: The Board met with the company that provides our pond maintenance. There is one section of the pond that is experiencing problems due to silt deposits and weed over growth. The company will be using a special solution on that section of the pond to reduce the ecessive weed overgrowth in an effort to improve pond health!
